What Is Sunday School?
Sunday school is St. Andrew’s Sunday Christian education for pre-K through 6th grade. We meet in person every Sunday morning during the second worship service from 11am-11:30am.
Our mission is to share the Good News of Christ’s love.
This program uses a multi-faceted teaching approach to capture and stimulate the widest range of children’s imagination and attention. Throughout the year we have multiple opportunities to show Christ’s love to the each other, the congregation, and community as a whole. We are staffed by volunteers from the congregation, which includes both adults and high school students. They teach and assist throughout the year.
Sunday School Highlights:
- A Bible-based curriculum supplemented with bi-annual Luther education
- Next Step Bible presentation for preK, 3rd grade, and 7th grade students
- First communion education for all children (no age limits)
- Family-oriented fellowship events
- Weekly Music
- Annual Christmas Pageant
- Community service projects that connect with COOL Food Pantry, PADS, and other service projects
